Student Aid Index Calculator

Use this calculator to estimate how parent income, student income, assets, household size, and college cost may affect a dependent student’s Student Aid Index.

For the most accurate estimate, use information from your 2024 federal tax return. You may use estimates if you do not have your tax information available.

Important: This calculator provides an educational estimate for dependent undergraduate students using 2024 tax information. It is not the official FAFSA Student Aid Index calculation, is not connected to the U.S. Department of Education, and does not guarantee federal, state, institutional, or private aid eligibility.
Privacy note: The calculator itself runs in your browser. Tuition Aid Consulting does not receive your information unless you choose to submit your name, email, and estimate for review after seeing your result.
